A big thanks to all the artists, Nerve contributors, visitors and all who came to the opening party on an overcast and rainy yet revolutionary evening in which the fruits of our labors finally were unveiled to the appreciative crowds who attended! Needless to say, a good time was had by all and there is plenty of time still to appreciate the The Nerve Centre!
Nerve 16's cover star watches over proceedings. |
We're back tomorrow with performances from our legendary street troubadour Tom George, a Philosophy in Pubs discussion on Liverpool's past, present and future from 1pm, Val Walsh hosts Beautiful Words For Difficult Times from 3pm and following that is Music from Slow Motion Stranger, Ian Ruddick, an acoustic experimentalist from Liverpool. Finally, the evening is rounded off by the pretty hardcore Kung Fu Fighting With Snakes, who will perform hardcore poetry backed by even more hardcore music.
If that's not enough to satisfy your creative urges, check out the wonderful art that populates the walls of The Nerve Centre!
Thanks again and see you all soon!
